Nexus
Nexus is a unique formulation of nutrients that supplements the nutrition of your livestock.
Nexus contains the following key ingredients:
- Vitamins A, D and E
- Iodine

Nexus was developed to assist in the prevention of deficiencies in Vitamin A which may lead to night blindness, eye discharge or diarrhoea and Vitamin D deficiencies which may lead to weak bones and depressed appetite. Nexus also assists in maintaining Vitamin E and mineral levels in livestock.
Vitamin E is vital for the structure and function of skeletal and heart muscle and has a role in decreasing mastitis in cows. Vitamin E works closely together with Selenium and they are known to have a positive influence on reproduction and the prevention of White Muscle Disease (WMD). Selenium is also involved in the improvement of immune response and growth.
Iodine is considered to be important for reproductive performance, control of metabolic activity and wool/ coat quality. Chromium aids in glucose metabolism and protein deposition.
Nil withholding periods
When you use Nexus on your sheep or cattle, there is no withholding period for:
- Milk
- Meat
- Export slaughter

When to use Nexus
- Pre-mating – treat rams and ewes/cows once before mating
- Pre-lambing/calving – treat ewes/cows one to four weeks before birth
- Lactation – treat ewes/cows during the first three months of lactation
- Deficient feed – treat all stock after 3 months of dry forage or drought feed
- Situations of stress – e.g. weaning, marking, live export, entering feedlots
